DL 385 G2 - Physical drive stuck

I'm working with a ProLiant DL 385 G2 server and two of my hard drives have become stuck halfway in and halfway out of the bays. I can't get the drive in or out - tried taking the cover off the top but can't access it that way.

How can I get those drives out without damaging the machine? Has anyone else had this problem?
