DL 385 G7 - Power Supply

Hi,
I'm considering the 460W CS HE power supply (redundant) for the DL385 G7 configured below. Should this be sufficient or should I go with the 750w? Thanks.

P410i - 512 flash cache
1 8-Core 6128 - 80w
16GB PC3-10600R
14 72GB 2.5 SAS 15K drives
extra P410 - 512 flash cache controller

HP Power Advisor total wattage is around 322.

Hello,
probably it is enough, but I think your HP sales representative have to do final configuration.

Definitely go to the 750W. The 322 feels too close to the limit and if you add anything else to the server (second CPU, more memory, PCI card, disks) you might go over and lose redundancy.

460 is enough for what you need however I agree with TTR, if you want to add more in the future Power will go above 460 having the need of a second power supply loosing redundancy.
keep in mind also that 322w is when system is at 100% and you will hardly have it that way meaning you will have room over there
