DL 560 No POST, No Video, No iLo

After attempting an upgrade of iLo we now have nothing on a server. I have tried using the iLo override switch but that didn't work.

Hi James,

you can take the power cable out, wait 3 0sec , plug it in and turn the server on.

Further you can use the same switch positions 1,5,6 to on to switch to redundant ROM.

The power has been off for much longer than 30 sec. at a time.

I have not tried the dipswitches in those positions. I will give it a try.

ILO FW is not linked to the BIOS however if you used FW CD to flash FW to ILO it is probable that you flashed the BIOS also, in this case back up rom will be a good idea, if this does not works stress out the server (minimal configuration) to get video, after that you can add parts to isolate the faulty component
