Hi
recently we add up some memory to our DL 580 G7 server and now it is 512 GB of RAM
but in windows it shows that the usable memory is 384 GB and the 128 GB is hardware reserved memory
what is this reservation and what can I do use that?
OS = Windows 2012 x64 Standard
DL 580 G7 with 4 CPU

SolutionHello,
Check if you have configured RAID memory or Online Spare Memory in BIOS.
Take a look at these guidelines for memory configuration.
