DL 580 hangs during Windows 2003 Server R2 Installation

DL 580 hangs during Windows 2003 Server R2 Installation

I've been trying to get Windows 2003 Installed on my DL 580. I have ran SmartStart 5.5 and configured everything properly, selecting Windows 2000 Server as my OS but it always hangs when installing the OS. Has anyone got this to work?

Sorry I forgot to mention that is hangs at the Setup is Starting Windows section.

Send the specifications of your server, generation DL580 ?? RAID configured how many disks etc.

Try changing your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. I found out that some DVD-ROM or CD-ROM does not work very well with windows 2003 server, specially R2
