DL 585 g2 memory
I have a 585 g2 with 16 gb of ddr2 ram. This ram installed is pc5300 and there are 16 sticks at 1 gb each. I have 4 sticks at 2 gb each and is pc3200. Would it be ok to add 2 sticks to processors 0 and 1 (2 sticks at 2 gb each) or would the different speeds cause a problem?
thanks

Re: DL 585 g2 memory
Well it's not listed as supported memory by HP in their productbulletin so i wouldn't recommend it.
I guess if you try it and it works all the memory would operate at pc3200 speed.
