DL100 Storage Server MMC


We've recently obtained a Server 2003 R2 upgrade from HP in order to use the disk quota management services on one of our DL100's. Everything has installed correctly, no reported errors and the server is running wonderfully again along with the disk quota management.

However since we've put in place the disk quotas the HP Storage Server Management Console times out after 8 seconds with a "Server Connection Timed Out" message and an error in the application log :

Event ID : 8257

Process dirquota.exe timed out (8 seconds)

It seems as though it is timing out trying to receive the disk quota settings.

Does anyone have any ideas how to extend the timeout time or resolve this issue?
