DL140 G2 No video

Hello,

I just got a DL140 G2 from a friend and i'm powering it on, and fans automatically go on max, and it does not output any video at all.

I have also connected a video card to it and i still get no video.

I'm not a pro when it comes to servers, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check all the lights. I don't think the DL140 G2 had the nice status display on front but it should at least have an LED that glows amber when off, green when on, and red if there's some error that prevents it from booting.

If all else fails find the quickspecs online and see what it shows for making sure CPU and memory are populated correctly. You could also find the location of the NVRAM reset dip switch and clear it's memory to see if that helps at all.
