DL140 G3 Windows 2008 Server drivers
Hello,
We have installed one Windows 2008 Server with terminal services on a DL140 G3 over two weeks ago and since then I have been searching the web for a videocard driver for the 2008 operating system daily with no luck. I can't find the videocard driver from hp's website nor with google. I think that the videocard is ATI ES1000, but I'm not sure because it doesn't say the card type in specs of the Proliant DL140 G3 server. Could someone please help me and point out the link for the driver.
At this moment the graphics card drivers are installed by Windows: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. The maximum resolution of the screen is 1027x768 and color depth 16 bit. The problem is mainly with the color depth because some programs that our client uses require 32 bit colors.

Re: DL140 G3 Windows 2008 Server drivers
Hi Markku,
check the quickspecs for this server :
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12509_div/12509_div.HTML#Technical%20Specifications
Graphics Integrated on the system board:
1280 x 1024 at 8bpp (bits per pixel) or 2^8 = 256 colors
or
1024 x 768 at 16bpp (bits per pixel) or 2^16 = 65536 or 64k colors
This means that the onboard video controller, don't support 32-bit.
For this server there are optional NVIDIA VGAs. They are listed in the specs too.
