DL140 G3

Hiya

We have 9 of these servers, with 4 of them acting as our DC's (2 in each site), the other 5 as our firewalls, running Windows Server 2003 R2 x86.

The 4 DC's are running Windows Server 2008 and are continuously BSOD'ing with 0x000000F4 code. The only solution is to rebuild them from scratch. I have tried both x86 and x64 versions of Windows Server 2008 and both experience the problem, whether using built-in Microsoft drivers or newer ones from HP's website. This has been going on since August and HP are being reluctant to resolve the issue.

The 5 that are running Windows Server 2003 R2 x86 have not experienced this problem, so I believe it is an inherent problem with these servers and/or drivers and Windows Server 2008.

As or domain functional level is set to 2008 mode, we cannot use Windows Server 2003 domain controllers.

I think the only solution is the send them back for replacement with another model, but I wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Thanks

Re: DL140 G3

Come on I can't be the only person with this problem.

What is causing the 0x000000F4 BSOD? If I can find that out I can fix it.
