DL140 Insight Manager Agent

I have a Proliant DL140, Xeon 2.4. I cannot locate the SmartStart disk. I need to find the Insight Manager Agent for this server. I cannot seem to find it on the web site. Does anyone have any idea where I can find it? Any help that you can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks.

You can download Smart Start 5.5 CD from the following link.

If you are having Windows 2000 you can down load Proaliant Support pack for W2K from,

If you are having Windows 2003 you can down load Proaliant Support pack for W2003 from,

Re: DL140 Insight Manager Agent

I do not see the DL140 listed on this page as a supported platform on the Windows 2000 link. Is this the correct package?

Re: DL140 Insight Manager Agent

Smart Start nor any of the support packs are supported on any of the 100 series servers. If you try to install them it will fail.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: DL140 Insight Manager Agent

One of the differences that make the ProLiant 100 series more affordable from the 300 series and above is that there are no value-add HP drivers and utilities published for the series. To manage a ProLiant DL140 server, HP SIM uses WMI (WBEM). Consult your HP SIM user guide on instructions for enabling WBEM.
