DL140 not detecting 2x sata disks....
Im trying to boot into an applicaiton (Acronis True Image Enterprise Server) to restor a backup... However, it will not detect any local drives, neither do any show in the bios.
Ive gone into advanced chipset featers and even enabled sata raid, but when I do F8 to enter raid config, that doesnt detect the drives either...
This is a new server, without OS.. how can I set the disks up to be recognised...
Thanks

Re: DL140 not detecting 2x sata disks....
We have 3 other identical servers which are fine, and we have used the resotre disk on them...
One thing I have noticed is on power up, i get a green/blue/amber hdd light, then see no further activity...

Hi,
Which generation of DL140?
Are these NHP or HP SATA drives?
Tx.

I know that I am intelligent, because I know that I know nothing.

Hot plug SATA Drives or non-hot plug? are the hard drives properly connected on the SATA ports in the system board?
If it's not fun, you're not doing it right
