DL140 sever showing 4 processors in task manager....

I have two DL140 servers that are both showing 4 seperate processor graphs in task manager. I know for sure they don't have quad processors! The OS is Server 2003. Any ideas?

you do have dual ? with HT ?

No, machines only have single processors, but if you go into device manager the processor is listed three times over...

How many processors show up during post? Just one? If you had two, then hyperthreading would make them appear to be four within Windows. If you have just one physical processor installed and it's showing four, then I'm not sure about that.

Any Hyper threaded or Dual Core processors will show up as 2 processors in Windows Server. As you have 2 physical processors, you see 4 "cores". This is okay and as it should be
