Re: DL140 (unintentional) re-booting
I have the exact same problem.
My DL140 starts itself automatically every midnight. Only a keyboard and mouse is connected, no LAN, no monitor.
Also, it once did shut down by itself, but I do not remember if this happened at midnight or not. It was a "nice" shutdown, e.g. "Windows is shutting down...", just like if the power button had been pressed.
Weird !? Is this a WOL bug or what?
Regards / AA

Re: DL140 (unintentional) re-booting
(You will likely not be able to move your machine into production until the BIOS patch goes "production".)

Re: DL140 (unintentional) re-booting
Did you get an ETA for the bios from HP?

Re: DL140 (unintentional) re-booting
I think we were one of the first to stumble on to this problem. HP has been very quiet as to why this is occurring even after we've spent considerable time helping them address and troubleshoot the issue. Phooey.

Re: DL140 (unintentional) re-booting
I am not running SMS, the system load is, I think, reasonable.
Is there something I can look at which would indicate why the reboot?
Thanks,
Hank
