DL140g3 loading the drivers for serial scsi drives on setup
Hello I have a DL140G3 with 2 36 serial scsi drives that I'm trying to load Windows 2003, I've downloaded all the drivers for the disk controller and hit F6 to install them during setup..the system loads the files but then it gives an error saying that no disks have been found and the windows setup fails. Can someone point me to the corrent drivers needed for this server model? I've tried all of the ones on the support page and so far nothing..using an usb floppy disk drive..
thank you!
thank you!

Re: DL140g3 loading the drivers for serial scsi drives on setup
Hi,
I think you would need to create a logical drive first with the setup utility on the card at POST - You should be prompted to press a control sequence to enter the setup. Then Windows 2003 should see the disk via the BIOS.
If the controller is the HP 8 Internal Port SAS with Raid, it is based on the LSI Logic LSISAS3080XR controller. You can find drivers and documentation for it here.

I hope this helps.
