DL145 - Boot Error: FRU contents are corrupt

Hello,

during the boot phase of an new DL145 G3 (BIOS Version is from 03/19/2007) I get the following Error Message:

0F04: ERROR
FRU contents are corrupt

Can someone tell me what that error means and how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance...

Bye

Re: DL145 - Boot Error: FRU contents are corrupt

Frank,

The only reference I can see to FRU and Phoenix BIOS is the Flash Recovery Utility which might indicate that a backup copy of the BIOS is corrupt.

In higher spec. Proliants (ML/DL300 series etc.) flashing the BIOS twice places the same BIOS version into the "current" and "backup" locations. It might be the same for you so flashing the BIOS again with the same version (or newer) might resolve this.

I hope this helps.

As Brian said, flash the BIOS with the latets version and the error should go away.
