DL145 Fan Speed Control

How can I get the OS (windows server 2003 Standard Ed) to control the fan speed (as it does on a DL380)

Server Details
Sn 8009MNM54B
PID 368232-421

Hi Max,

You need to install the Management software, supplied with the server for controlling/ configuring /monitoring Hardware resources like fan, temperature.. etc...

You can't use the management software is specific to the model of server, so you need the software which is compatible to your server.

Thats what i do with the DL360/DL380 - but the DL145 comes with no management software and I am unbale to find any on the web!! any thoughts?

Hi Max,
You can try some management softwares , which is designed for same type motherboards from other vendor ( OEM Intel/ ASUS/ Supermicro ..etc.).
