DL145 G2 Opteron OSA248CEP5AU

I recently upgraded a XW9300 from 2.2Ghz Opteron's with the intention of fitting the 248's in my DL145 G2 when installed the DL145 G2 (Latest BIOS) reports the OSA248CEP5AU's as 'Engineering Samples'. Although the DL145 moans and complains that the processors are unsupported they seem to work perfectly well the correct core voltage is selected(1.5V) and frequencey (2200MHz) could anyone shed some light on this? Does the DL145 Require 1000MHz HT?

Yes, you are spot on - all Opterons supported on the DL145 G2 feature 1GHz HT.
