DL145 iLO - how does it work?

OK I know it isn't a proper iLO device like on the P4 ProLiants. However, I cannot find how to use it for remote access. I have installed Linux [Debian 64] on it and now need some advice or documentation on how to set it up.

Thanks.

See the "ProLiant DL145 G1 Lights-Out 100i Remote Management Processor User Guide"

Re: DL145 iLO - how does it work?

Thanks for helping me locate that PDF, I had looked endlessly without finding it.

I now have another problem. The iLO on our two DL145s doesn't respond to port 80 browser access. According to the manual once I have setup IP addresses [and I know it's working as I can telnet to it] all I have to do is point a web browser to it as a http document.

This doesn't work, neither server responds. Is there somewhere I have to configure the port?

In order to get the HTTP ILO stuff, you need to apply the following upgrade: http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22698.html
