DL160 G5 coming up at 10Mbps/Half-duplex

I've got over 100 DL160 G5s all running CentOS 5.3 (i.e. RHEL 5.3) x86_64 and attached to Foundry switches. At boot time, I've noticed that random nodes are negotiating at 10Mbps/half-duplex rather than 1Gbps/full-duplex. The problem is not restricted to the same rack (or even model of switch in the rack). A reboot of the affected nodes (or even a 'service network restart') usually fixes the problem. I'm running the most recent BIOS and just upgraded the network adapter firmware, and the problem persists. Any ideas?

I've seen the same with ML115 G5, which uses the same NC105i embedded NIC, when running ESXi. My solution was simply to set server and switch to 1000/full (*must* set both ends!).
