DL160 Gen9 LFF (non hotplug) and P440 storage controller

Hi,

we own a Proliant DL160 Gen9 LFF (non hotplug) server and an additional P440 (along with the recommended Mini SAS cable option).

Now we wonder if it is possible to connect the drive cage (has 4 separated drive connectors) with the P440 controlller?

Looking at the maintenance and service guide and the quickspecs, it doesn't appear to be a P440 cable for use in the non hot-plug chassis. You might call support to verify.

HP P440 Controller is not selectable or not an options for a HP DL160 G9 Non-hot plug config.

Please see attached file compatible controller for a Non-hot plug config.

Or you may contact HP to validate config.
