We received some servers with 2 SAS disks, they were configured to RAID0 using the LSI SAS controller. Recently I added 2 more disks to test performance of a 4way RAID0 stripe. The extra 2 disks came from a dead server that was previously configured with a 2way RAID0 stripe.
Now when the server boots, I hit F8 to get into the LSI Configuration Utility, I get the message that it will continue after intialization, then it sits waiting for the LSI Configuration to begin. I've even let the server wait overnight without anything changing.
Is there a way to "reset" everything? Can I recover from this?
I've even tried to use just the original 2 disks. They do still work, but I can't get into the Configuration Menu anymore.
Thanks for the help.

Re: DL160 w/SAS controller
Many thanks, hitting the button cleared up the problem and I was able to rebuild the SAS RAID array.
