DL160G5..PCI-X/PCIe issues
I have a PCI-X board that was installed in the DL160G5 server. I purchased the upgrade PCI-X adapter for the riser board to accommodate the card. The interesting thing is the connector from the riser board on the system board is a PCIe. We are having problems with our analog/digital card and assuming there may be a conflict with the PCI-X card and the PCIe connection on the system board. We have a DL140G3 with the same card, the system board has a PCI-X connection slot but the DL160G5 just has a PCIe connection. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jamie

Re: DL160G5..PCI-X/PCIe issues
Hi Jamie,
my opinion is that you shouldn't have problem, but what can you do is to check on compatibility list, because you don't have too many options in this case.
Kind regards,
Predrag
