DL165 G7 quickspecs are all wrong.
According to these quickspecs for DL165 G7:

It clearly says the Opteron 6276 is supported, however after buying 10 brand new processors for 5 servers we have, we discovered that non of the 62XX series are supported!
In this particular specsheet (which is almost identical as above, System Board is the same 603887-001 ), lists on page 25 AMD processor 6164HE as the maximum supported:

So which one is correct? are two different system boards? or it's an error from HPE?
