DL180 G5 and Windows Server 2008
Hi people, I'm having problem installing Windows 2008 Server R2. I'm using 4 Sata HDs (250GB) with a RAID 10, using the onboard RAID controler. I can see the raid using the utility (F8) but somehow the Windows 2008 cant see it, even using the lastest driver from HP site. I've tried many drivers right now and noone works, anyone have ideia what I'm missing?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

only 2 chances. Either the card faulty or the driver is wrong.

Re: DL180 G5 and Windows Server 2008
Could you provide more information.
Is it failing to boot after setup completes, or is it unable to even perform a setup?
If the former, perhaps the BIOS is not set to use that boot device as the primary.

Re: DL180 G5 and Windows Server 2008
Thanks for the reply. I just signed a contratct with Microsoft that gave me option for Windows 2008 server R2 or Windows 2008 Server SP2. I tested with R2 first, when he ask for drivers at second stage it stuck there, but today i tried with SP2 and it worked great, with the drivers from the HP website. Dont know why it happened this way, but ill stay with SP2, and thanks again for the replys.
