DL180 G6 PCI Cage

We are trying to order, or at least find the correct part number, a PCI cage for a Proliant DL180 G6 server. The part number we have found in an HP support document (see below) lists part number 454357-001 as the needed PCI cage, but when ordering the PCI cage we are told it is specifically for a DL180 G5 server and will not work for the G6.

Would anyone be able to provide the correct part number?

I see that only the above document is mentioned part number 454357-001 for DL180 G6 server. and the spare parts list, option parts, part surfer does not show this part number for G6.

Refer the HP ProLiant DL180 Generation 6 (G6) server QuickSpec document for supported PCI Riser options:

As per the QuickSpec following are the options:

HP DL180 G6 3PCI-E x8, Full Height Kit - 577668-B21
NOTE: This option provides two x8 full-length/full-height slots as well as an additional x8 (x4 electrically) slot. This allows the DL180G6 to have a maximum of four (4) slots.

HP PCI-X Full Riser DL180 G6 Kit - 488230-B21
NOTE: This option kit replaces the three internal expansion slots listed in step 1 base configuration.
NOTE: Optional PCI-X option kit includes: Slot 1: full-length/full-height PCI-X 100; Slot 2: Full length/Full-height PCI-X 100. PCI-X slots are 64 bits; 133 MHz capable if only one PCI-X card is installed in the server.

NOTE: This option provides 2 Full Length, Full Height x8 PCIe slots.

If you are looking for spare part number specifically use www.partsurfer.hp.com and search with option part and it will give you the spare part number.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately we were looking for the PCI cage that the riser cards would go into. We had reviewed the support documents that you mentioned before posting and they did not contain the parts that we were interested in.

Since originally posting this, we have sent the server back and will need to reorder without the rear drive cage option so that we are able to add riser cards.
