DL180 G6 / SE326M1R2 : BIOS Update (05-05-2011 to actual)
Hello everyone, I just recieve a DL180 G6, I have correctly updated the ILO2, P410i... But the BIOS update doesn't work. At each time it says that there is no ROM to update on this product when I boot on every new BIOS updates of the HP website
But these are the only BIOS updates I have for this product. Is there maybe others ?
I am still with the 05-05-2011 version installed.
Edit : info : there is a chip with "ROM V2.01 D2D4" on it on the motherboard.
Edit : info : Prodcut ID : BR531A (according to ILO2)
Regards,
Sorcier777

Re: DL180 G6 / SE326M1R2 : BIOS Update (05-05-2011 to actual)
Hello,
Did the bios work for you?
I have added the file to my SPP2014.02 USB Key into the described folder, but HPSUM didn't regonized it.
My System is a SE326M1R2 with R02 from 12/07/2010.
The only available OS is Debian, currently...
Thanks alot
Rolf

Why not try this?
Follow the instructions!
Version: 2013.07.01 (A)(13 Aug 2013)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: DL180 G6 / SE326M1R2 : BIOS Update (05-05-2011 to actual)
I have tried the DL180 BIOS SP63000 package multiple times via different ways.
That isn't working. The flash software afudos aborts with a not supported message.
The system board is used in different platforms like Lefthand, X1600, SE1220 and SE316M1.
Flashing with the above referenced X1600 aborts also with an error message
Who has another idea?
Thanks!

The X1600 Firmware is suitable for a SE326M1 with installed Windows Server !

Re: DL180 G6 / SE326M1R2 : BIOS Update (05-05-2011 to actual)
I update the BIOS by booting a WinPE (Win 7 32bit) ISO, extracting cp021345.exe and manually running the cpqsetup.exe :-)

Intersesting, after you flashed it did it have any impact on the fan noise?!
