DL180G6 LO100i Setting Hostname with lo100cfg or ipmitool

Hi all,

although the manual says "using the default naming sequence assigned by LO100, LO100 - {Server Serial Number} . (For example, LO100 - CNQ123456.)" all my DL180G6 arrive with DNS Hostname "LO100"

Talked to my sales rep, but he is unable to fix it.

I don't want to change 100 boxes per month by Hand

So... how can I set the Hostname of a LO100i from within the box (like hponcfg)

The manual of lo100cfg says it can't do it.

ipmitool seems to be unable to set it directly.

Can I somehow get to the serial interface of the LO100i with ipmitool?

Has anyone solved this Problem?
