DL300 series run off two different voltages?

I know the power supplies in the DL300 series servers can auto-switch between 208v and 110v.. but can you have a two power supply system with each power supply receiving a different voltage (one at 208v and the other at 110v simultaneously)? My guess would be yes, but I'm hoping someone can point me in the way of an article or statement that confirms that.

Thanks!

Re: DL300 series run off two different voltages?

It seems odd that the power infrastructure available to the system would be limited in that way - how do you end-up with that situation?

FWIW, "supported" vs "works" in HPSpeak:

Supported, known to work -> warm fuzzies all around
Supported, not known to not work -> an HPite may be in trouble
Supported, known to not work -> an HPite is in trouble
Unsupported, known to work -> lucky today, unlucky tomorrow?
Unsupported, not known to not work -> there but for the grace of Turing
Unsupported, known to not work -> no, it was not deliberate ;-)

If it does work, and these were redundant PSUs, you'd want to triple check that the low line voltage PSU was rated to provide sufficient power on its own for your configuration... otherwise, it would rather defeat the purpose of having redundant PSUs.

I have run across servers in this config so it does work and these server were not having an issue. But it is, I am sure, not supported and so is undocumented.
