DL320 BIOS Does Not Recognized the factory installed DVD

Recently purchased 2 DL320 G5 servers. Both came in a DVD drive. When the server boots up, the bios sees a CD-Rom not a DVD drive.

Any ideas why this may be happening?

The OS see the device as a CD-Rom not a DVD.
Before I even get to the OS loading the system see a CD-Rom when there is a DVD installed.

I didn't update the bios. I was thinking of doing so. The funny thing is that the system recognized when I placed a linux bootable DVD in the drive.
