DL320 G5 problem after Firmware Update using 8.50

Hi

I have DL320 G5 server. After applying firmware updates via 8.50 CD, I have problems with it. The Server is now takes 10 mins to boot up and my iLO 2 not detected anymore. Is there a problem with 8.50 upgrade CD ? The Updates were only iLO firmware to 1.77 and BIOS to W05. Thanks

Still same issue. Long boot and iLO not detected. So basically the fans gone at Full speed for about 10 mins before seeing the HP logo and POST checks. I also did the NVRAM clear (SW06 on the motherboard) and that didn't help either. In the end I call HP support and they sending me a new motherboard. They suspect Firmware update has failed the motherboard.

you can downgrad of your firmware . and about your ilo :
you should check jumper of ilo on motherboard .

Still same issue even downgrading the BIOS. iLO not detected by the motherboard. I managed to replaced the board given by HP. and everything works fine now.

solved by changing the motherboard. Looks like the firmware has failed the board itself.
