DL320 G5p problems loading win2k3

I am having troubles getting Win2k3 loaded onto this server, it does not recognize any hard drives. I have turned on the embedded raid controller and it still does not see the drives. They light up when I first power it up but nothing after that. I have tried all the storage contoller drivers from the support site but no luck. Any help would be great.

Have you tried using the SmartStart CD?

Yes, it tells me that the "primary controller configured isn't supported in this version of smartstart". Used Smartstart 8.2

What Controller you have, in that server?

ICH9R and Intel 8281GR SATA RAID controller.

The Link I sent you has the 8.26 and it has the embedded controller supported, can you try that one?
IF you still have errors, you should call and get the controller replaced.

Firmware, drivers, and re-cabling is all you can do in that server.

1-800-633-3600 option 1, option 2, key "ProLiant Running Microsoft"

and tell them all the steps you have taken, I believe you could have a faulty controller.
