DL320s refuses system restore disc

Hello,

I have a bit of a problem, this system is totally stock except for the drives - I have only one drive in the system and the HP ProLiant Storage Server Service Release 6.6 DVD refuses to authenticate.

Re: DL320s refuses system restore disc

Hi,

DL320s is available in two models:

1.  HP ProLiant DL320s Server

2.  HP ProLiant DL320s Storage Server

So make sure you are using this DVD on the Storage Server.

Also refer to this post, it may help.

Thank You!

Re: DL320s refuses system restore disc

Hi Suman,
Thanks for the help. The system had was decommissioned and all the info and drives were removed.
I think I have the Storage Server as it's Xeon 3070 CPU ect...
I used the the Part Surfer to find the product ID: AH691A.
I've entered my SN and the product ID into the BIOS, both were blank.
Now I see the info in the iLO, and the UUID has been generated, previously blank.

But the DVD still still refused to auth to the system.

I also see now that the DVD is for AG65xA series systems, I am unable to locate a restore DVD for this system.

I also need to somehow get a iLO 2 Advanced Key re-issued for this system... Any advice on that?
