DL360 G2 Upgrade CPU to a Tualatin PIII-S
Im running a DL360 G2 with a PIII 866. With the newest Smartstart I Updated all components to the latest Versions. And like http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/15285.html says, Tualatin CPUs where supported.
But know I Replaced the 866 CPU with a 1.266 PIII-S CPU. When I restart the system I become no picture on my screen. A tryed with another 1.266 CPU but its the same. The server will not start.
There is no Beep and the cpus and graffic chip getting warm.
Have I sett the sw2 switch wrong?
Anyone can help me? thx

Re: DL360 G2 Upgrade CPU to a Tualatin PIII-S
For all G1 is the same System rom, however you need to have System board 239120-001
... 866NHz Used only with G1
2. How did you get install G2 System ROM to G1 http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/15285.html
Something is Confusing.
