DL360 G2 unattended installation

All,

I have created an unattended install for some DL360s (Generation 1). Now we have som Generation 2 and Windows 2000 unattended setup runs til the end and waits for a reboot. The message sais that 100% of all files had been copied and there it waits. If I do a CTRL+ALT+DEL the server reboots and everzthing goes fine. Anz Ideas?

Re: DL360 G2 unattended installation

Place this line in your script directly after the line that starts your unattended setup:

%DL%\cpq\reboot c: /cold

(where %DL% is your installation share).

This "feature" happends at the end of the Windows 2000 Setup. There is no way to execute a script.

Re: DL360 G2 unattended installation

I meant the batchfile that originally started the unattended setup.

I attached my setupscript as an example. Scroll to the last section of the file (the comments are in Dutch but the rest should be readable...).
