DL360 G3 - Adding additional RAM

The MOBO has 4 slots for RAM.
The server currently has 2GB (2x1024) PC2100.

Is is possible to add and additional 512MB (2x256) PC2100? Or do I need to have the same amount of additional RAM?

Yes, you can add additional 512MB (2x256) PC2100 (p/n 300678-B21)
