DL360 G3 raid controller issue
I have a DL360 G3 thats show me the onboard smartarray raidcontroller. When i will manage the raid configuration from bios or smartstart cd i get some error. The raidcontroller say that there no physical disks visible at the controller. I have used U320 143GB disks.
* I have checked with another u320 disks
* Check the connector from motherboard
* Check disk to slot connector.
* Check power on disks
* Try another server and fix the issue.
Problem is now, what is wrong with the server and raidcontroller. Firmware's i used are from maintanance firmware cd 7.80.
Is't needed to make a call for this issue?

Re: DL360 G3 raid controller issue
Also the internal health led is this one flashing amber?
One more thing to check the scsi backplane open the server up behind the diskcage is the backplane, detach the cables on this and reseat the backplane.
start the server backup again, seen this before with several Dl360G3 and G4 booting up and no disks are detected normaly caused by the backplane not seated correctly.

Re: DL360 G3 raid controller issue
indeed the connector from backplane to motherboard wasn't good connected. Maybe happens while transport. push it done and CLICK.
And the disks are back.
thx for fast response
