DL360 G4 Upgrade to Redundant Power

Hi,

Can someone help please ?

I have a DL360 G4p with a single power supply (SPS-PWR SPLY 361392-001). I would like to upgrade to redundant PSUs. Can someone advise me what I need to do ?

Do I need to modify the server, or can I just add a second PSU to the spare slot? If I can just add a second PSU, what is the difference between the part number above and a 354587-B21 RPSU ?
Are they interchangeable or do I need to upgrade both supplies to the same model and if so which ?

Thanks
Dave

Re: DL360 G4 Upgrade to Redundant Power

Hi Dave,

The difference is that the 354587-B21 is the redundant kit which contains the 361392-001 and a power cord.

See the Qucikspecs and Partsurfer:

http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=354587-B21

Order the kit and you should be good to go.
