DL360 G4 compatible memory

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade one of my DL360 G4 webservers which presently has 1GB RAM (Note: it's definitely a G4, not a G4p).

Would this RAM be suitable? http://www.ebuyer.com/product/91101

I see many places wanting to charge well over double (including Kingston themselves), just for branding it compatible with the DL360 G4. The specifications seem the same though.

Am I missing something?

Hello Sam,

This should work with the server as the specs are compatible but cannot guarantee as its not an hp part and hp tech support will not support but u can try it out ideally it shud work.

HP can not support any third party product without OEM. So my opinion please do not use any third party product other way U void Ur standard warranty.
