DL360 G4 not booting

System was running fine all the time. Now when I reboot the server, the fans start running at full speed and go down in speed after some time, the normal reaction. Then a bit later I directly get the "diagnostic test" screen!? However I cannot select any test to perform, because everything seems frozen (when I toggle the numlock-key the -led goes on/off).
I checked all the error-leds on the mb, but everything seems ok.
Did a reset with dipswitch 6, also removed/placed the battery, but no result.

A Screen shot would be helpful. Please share it.
Did you changed any hardware recently?
What is the status after disconnecting all the hard drives?

It is not possible to make a screen shot, because the thing freezes. Removing the HDD's doesn't make any difference.
I'll explain how you get to the screen which I see:
A some moment during booting, you shortly get the options:
for ROM based Setup Utility
for System Maintenance Menu and
for PXE Boot.
Now when you press and then choose "Diagnostic Utility", you get the screen which I see. However I cannot select anything in this Utility, because there's no reaction from the keybd.
The normal reaction when booting, is that on your screen you see something like:
RAM init/detection
BIOS
processor init
smart array init/detection drives
HP ethernet Boot Agent
etc. etc.
The strange thing (to me !) is that when I boot I see none of these, just a direct (dead end) jump to the Diagnostic Utility screen.

Hi Arno,
Is there any additional card installed in the server?
What is the status on minimum configuration?
What is the status of Front Panel LEDs (Internal health LED and External Health LED)?
What is the status of ILO?
Is there any error recorded in ILO Logs and IML logs?

System is controlled by System ROM till F9 and F10 option appears.
If F9 option is selected then control remain with System ROM
and if F10 option is selected then control is passed to System Partition/System Configuration Utility.
In this case there could be a issue with System ROM.

Do you have floppy drive installed in the server or Advanced pack of ILO to use virtual media?
May be the BIOS needs to be restored with dip switch 1,4,5 and 6
