Hi.
I noticed that there is a "blank filler" PSU available for the G4. It has the serial number 361397-001
If I remove one of the redundant 460W PSU's I have (serial 361392-001), does that mean a "blank filler" is necessary to fill the space?
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionHi,
Spare Part# 361392-001 = Hot-plug power supply, 460 W
Spare Part# 361397-001 = Power supply blanking panel
The part 361397-001 is used to cover the blank space if second power supply is not installed.
These blanks are used so that there would be proper air flow within the server.

Re: DL360 G4p , PSU Blank Fillers necessary?
The fillers are needed for a proper airflow inside the server shassis - in case you don't have a filler for the PSU, and PSU causes problems, it is recommended that you don't remove the PSU until you have a filler, just disconnect a power from it.
