DL360 G4p Server RAID card not detected

DL360G4p SATA-model with 2-port embedded SATA controller have not any RAID capability. So you can't use "6-Port SATA RAID Controller Driver" with this controller. According QuickSpec: "...HP embedded 2 Port SATA Controller (integrated on system board)
NOTE: The HP embedded 2 Port SATA controller does not support RAID, hot plug drive functionality or drive activity LEDs.
NOTE: SATA RAID 0, 1 is available with the optional purchase of the HP 8-port SAS HBA (347786-B21) and HP SAS/SATA Cable Kit (398307-B21) - hot-plug drive functionality and drive activity LEDS not supported."

If I understand, you can't install OS ? Open the cover, check cables and drives (may be there no any drive indeed ? ;-) ). If no effect, call to HP support. You have HW failure.

We would not be buying the 8-port controller since we don't need a RAID configuration on this server. We just want to install the Windows 2003 server operating system on this.

There are 2 SATA hard drives installed perfectly inside the server.

What may be the hardware that could be replaced in this case to resolve the issue?
