DL360 G4p W2k3 NC340T - can't load driver, or Team

I have a DL360 G4p, with W2k3 R2, with an NC340T 4 port Gbe adapter.

The adapter 4 ports shows in Device Manager, and in Network Connections but do not appear in HP Network Configuration Utility (latest version 9.90.1

When I try to load the latest NC-Series Intel Driver for Windows Server 2003 (version 8.10.1.0, cp010958), the install fails with "... the required hardware is not present in the system....."

NC340T is supported in DL360 G4p, and Network Configuration utility, so what am I doing wrong??

Thanks in advance

Re: DL360 G4p W2k3 NC340T - can't load driver, or Team

Not sure where you are getting your info from but I see

NC340T Quickspec V11 shows Proliant 360 G4p, and Windows Server 2003 supported

Release notes for HP Network Configuration Utility for Windows Server 2003 shows support for NC340T since version 8.4

but I agree Quickspec for DL360 G4p doesn't include NC340T, but I think the adapter Quickspec covers that ommission

Re: DL360 G4p W2k3 NC340T - can't load driver, or Team

Erdogan,

yes indeed - the DL360 Quickspec doesn't list the NC340T as a supported option, but the NC340T Quickspec

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12419_div/12419_div.HTML

does list the DL360 G4p as a supported server.

I wonder which one is right? I think I know the answer to that :-(
