DL360 G4p system diagnostic LEDs (CR15 - CR23)
The "HP ProLiant DL360 Generation 4 Server Reference and Troubleshooting Guide" (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00218205/c00218205.pdf, p.14-15) says "refer to the HP Remote Lights-Out Edition II User Guide" - however there is nothing in this document that explains these LEDs.
I have a server that does not power on (although iLO works, server stays in standby) and LEDs CR15 & CR16 are flashing alternately - I wanted to know what these meant.
Thanks!

Re: DL360 G4p system diagnostic LEDs (CR15 - CR23)
Karlo - if you have any suggestions that would be great! Basically the server stays in standby, it doesn't power on. It doesn't power on when the power button is physically pressed or by using the iLO virtual power button.
If anyone could give me a few suggestions I'd appreciate it - thanks!

Re: DL360 G4p system diagnostic LEDs (CR15 - CR23)
- reseat all components (power supply, riser cage, memories, Procs, PCI Cards)
- remove any additional component (Storage attached, PCI Cards)
- try minimum configuration(only 1 Proc at a time in case there are 2, and 2 memories, no PCI cards)
- try components from identical server in case you got another

Please let a qualified HP proliant service technician handle the case to reduce your downtime.

Re: DL360 G4p system diagnostic LEDs (CR15 - CR23)
I have reseated the PSU, RAM, CPUs, motherboard power, SCSI cable, hard drive, and DVD drive. Nothing changed - it powers on, iLO works, but it stays in standby. Same system diagnostic LEDs.
I then removed all but two sticks of RAM, one of the CPUs, and one of the HDDs - same result.
Don't suppose you have any more suggestions? Thanks!

Re: DL360 G4p system diagnostic LEDs (CR15 - CR23)
This seems to be the case of a system board failure.
