DL360 G5 & SBS 2011 x64

Unable to install above SW. I have the Microsoft install CD. I know it's a good burn because I installed on another PC w/o issues.

After selecting the partition to install the O/S on I get the following error;
Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.
Status 0xc00000e9

Can't go ANY further.

Did see that the current SmartStart CD 8.7 has the SBS drivers BUT I only see up to Server 2K8 x32. Nothing higher. Don't even see ANY x64 options.

Ran the full diags on the server & passed w/o any errors.

I do notice that the drivers page for the DL360 G5 has NO SBS 2011 drivers.

Ideas, Suggestions?

the DL360 G6 supports SBS 2011. You could do SBS 2008. HP will probably say its not fully supported. Microsoft should let you downgrade to SBS 2008.

Thanks for the info Mike. I tried to revert back to SBS2K8 but got the EXACT same message so I'll have to keep sniffin around.
Hope to hear from others with the DL360 G5.

Well, I decided to drop the SBS2K11 ISO onto a thumb drive & it installed on the first attempt. Go figure!
