DL360 G5 not seeing second dual quad-core E5345 processor

When I load Windows 2000 Server on this machine it does not show the second processor in system information or task manager. The BIOS detects both during boot. The HP support matrix states that Windows 2000 Server is supported. Every BIOS, Firmware, and any other patch or update that I can find has been installed. I am waiting on HP for an answer. Windows Server 2003 detects and uses both processors. I have three of these machines, and I love them, but I need to run Windows 2000 Server for various reasons. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, even for bad news.....

Find out what version of Windows 2000/2003 do you have, and how many physical processor this versions can support. Windows 2000 Server Standard Edition supports 1-4 physical CPUs. Do the servers running Windows Server 2003 use dual core, or HT processors?

Re: DL360 G5 not seeing second dual quad-core E5345 processor

Thank you Marek. Your answer made something go "Click" inside my head. W2K Server supports only 4 processors. It doesn't care if they are 2 dual core or one quad-core, it will only support 4. I had a license for W2K Advanced Serveer lying around and installed it and all my cores are now available! Thanks so much for your reply.
