DL360 Gen 8 P420i/zm

Hello,

I have a DL360 server with one drive installed. This has the OS already installed and configured. I have inserted another identical drive and wish to migrate from single disk raid 0 to two disk raid 1

Can this be achieved using the P410i with no BBW? 

When I access the HP Smart Storage Administrator I get teh option to create a new array but not add a drive to an addtional array

Any help much appreciated

You need the FBWC module before you can migrate RAID levels

So i cannot expect to insert an addtional drive of the same capacity and expect it to automaticaly mirror? Even if I reboot the server?

Correct, to migrate from a single disk RAID 0 to a two disk RAID 1, you need the FBWC module
