[DL360 Gen 9] iLO dedicated port not working


i have a problem with the iLO dedicated port on one of my servers, i noticed an erratic behaviour on it, sometimes disconnecting itself, at first i thought it was a cabling issue, but after changing it and actually testing a couple more (cables already tested in other servers) the issue was persisting.

there's a chance that the issue is with the ports, since the port is not blinking anymore, but i wonder if there's any other tests you may know, i had a server before, who showed the same behaviour but it was after an iLO firmware update stopped before the update was complete.

my servers run CentOS 7.2

There is no specific test only for the ILO dedicated port. Changing cables and checking with the latest firmware will be sufficient to isolate the issue. Since the issue still persist we recommend you log a case with us using the below link:-

In this event it looks like an issue with the ILO 4 port hence it is probably better to get a service ticket logged with HPE support.
