DL360 Gen10 CPU upgrade (Silver to Gold)

A client is inquiring about upgrading their server CPU from 2nd Generation Silver to a 2nd Generation Gold CPU. Are there any limitations that would prevent this?

You can upgrade from Silver to Gold. But make sure that you are upgrading to compatible CPUs mentioned in the quickspecs. Also both CPUs should be of same model.

Please let us know from which Silver CPU your client is using and to which Gold CPU they have plans to upgrade. I can verify and update you.
