DL360 Gen8 loud fans

We have the problem with an HP ProLiant DL 360 Gen8 8 that the fans are very loud.

I have already installed the latest SPP. But that has not eliminated the error.

The update cp021612.exe then also brought this error:

====== HP Smart Update Manager Installation Log ======
Source: cp021612.exe

Name: Online ROM Flash for Windows - Power Management Controller (HP ProLiant Gen8 Servers)

The software is not supported for installation on this system.

Unable to communicate with the iLO management processor!
Installation will not continue.
The installation procedure did not complete successfully. An error occurred during the setup process.

The operation was not successful.
End Session
Does anyone here have an idea how to eliminate this problem with the loud fans?

Regards, Fred

This looks like a NAND issue to me.

You can try formating the NAND by following the instructions listed in this document :

Hope it helps!
